Welcome to my photography blog.  It has been about a year since i've posted on here, and it feels really good to be back.  I'm rejoining a photography group that I met from The Bloom Forum.  This is a group of really talented photographers, most are professional photographers and some (like myself) are hobbyists.  The photos below are 10 (actually 11) images that I took throughout the course of 1 day. 

 I love this photography project because it really helps me see the beauty in the mundane.  I stay at home with my boys and while this is the job I currently want and enjoy, it is often a job that is difficult to see the beauty in.

Summer Adventures (part two)

On our way to our family reunion we stopped in Kentucky and stayed at this quaint hotel called Shaker Village.  The boys had a really fun time exploring the grounds and visiting the animals.  You can also take a ride on a riverboat...here Isaac is mesmerized by the boat going under a train bridge! (trains are his favorite thing in life)

What Home Looks Like - March

The word "home" has always evoked a warm, inviting, and restful feeling for me.  I grew up in a loving home and it is my prayer that my children only know a home that is full of love and is always a place of rest for them.

30.  That is the number I turn this week.  So, to celebrate this new decade of life my husband took me to a sweet bed and breakfast in the country.  A perfect way to relax, reflect, and refresh myself for the 30's.  I think i'm ready now...
